Cancer is the second leading cause of death for Floridians, with heart disease being number one. Since 2001, the Florida Legislature has recognized the need to support vital research conducted in both academic and private institutions throughout the state. This symposium will serve as a gathering point to collaborate and update on cancer research in the state of Florida.
