Florida academic cancer center alliance

As institutions funded through the state’s Florida Consortium of National Cancer Institute Centers Program, the state’s four premier cancer centers — the University of Florida Health Cancer Center, Moffitt Cancer Center, the University of Miami Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and Mayo Clinic — comprise the Florida Academic Cancer Center Alliance.

The 2025 Florida Academic Cancer Center Alliance Annual Retreat, hosted by Moffitt Cancer Center, will be held in Tampa. The retreat brings investigators and researchers together to share new best practices, research findings and clinical studies to better serve our patients and tackle the issue of cancer.

3-year impact Report

According to the statutory language that created the FACCA program, the National Cancer Institutes in Florida submit this report containing specific metrics related to cancer mortality and external funding for cancer-related research in the state every three years. The following reports have been submitted since the creation of the program.
